Lois K Molt's Obituary
Lois K. Molt (Kolb), Age 97, of Whitehall, passed peacefully on July 7, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Melvin F. Molt for 53 years. Lois is survived her loving children Dale F. (Linda) & Molly J. (Dawn) Molt; grandmother of Matthew (Rachel) Molt.
Lois was a proud 2nd grade elementary school teacher spending most of her teaching career at Concord Elementary School on Brownsville Road in Carrick.
Lois was also an avid reader who was known for reading 3 to 4 books at one time. She loved to cook and bake, always adding new recipes to her favorites. Crocheting afghans was one of her hobbies. Lois always did whatever was asked of her, never turning anyone down for any reason. She loved to help the less fortunate by volunteering at the Baldwin Community United Methodist Church Food Pantry and cooking for the South Hills Interfaith Ministries.
Visitation 2-4 & 6- 8 pm Thursday at JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills where services will be held 12 pm Friday in the funeral home chapel.
Entombment Jefferson Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Brentwood Meals on Wheels 3725 Brownsville Road Pittsburgh PA 15227.
