Lois Ann Bonura's Obituary
Lois Ann (Jazbinsek) Bonura, age 69, of Pleasant Hills, formerly of Shaler Township, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on February 12, 2021.
Lois is survived by her husband of 47 years, Tom Bonura; her children, Thomas (Kathleen) Bonura and Timothy (Alexandra) Bonura; grandchildren, Aubrey Kay, Luke Anthony, and Ethan Nathaniel; brothers, John, Jr., Richard, Robert, Kenneth, and Timothy Jazbinsek; sister, Christine Leight; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Annamae (Novak) Jazbinsek; and her sister, Patricia Mancinelli.
Lois was a member of the Pleasant Hills Volunteer Fire Company for over 40 years where she served on the Board of Directors. She was a CCD teacher at All Saints Parish and St. Elizabeth as well as an Eucharistic Minister. Lois always looked forward to hosting all holidays as she was the matriarch of her family.
Lois was the best mother and grandmother. She was the CEO of making her grandchildren laugh, especially her stellar 'floss' and 'dabbing'.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, February 15th at 10 A.M. at Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, St. Elizabeth of Hungary Worship Site, 1 Grove Pl, Pittsburgh, PA 15236. Please meet at church.
In lieu of flowers, friends may make a memorial contributions to Pleasant Hills Volunteer Fire Company, 72 Clairton Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA 15236.
