Linda Jean Kirk's Obituary
With profound sadness and heavy hearts, yet with happiness for the beautiful life she lived, we announce the passing of Linda Jean Kirk of Pleasant Hills on July 31, 2026. While our hearts are broken by her loss, we find comfort in the countless memories and love she shared with everyone blessed to know her.
Linda was a truly beautiful soul whose warmth, kindness, and generosity touched the lives of so many. She was deeply loved by her family and friends and was always there for others - offering encouragement, comfort, and support whenever it was needed. Her love will forever remain in the hearts of all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Linda was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Robert and Jean Kirk. She is lovingly remembered by her sister, Nancy (Kenneth) Bruce, with whom she shared a special bond, and her brother, Robert (Margaret) Kirk. She was a loving a treasured aunt to Lisa (Bill) Wensell, Jill (Michael) Spitznagel, and Adam Kirk. She held a very special place in her heart for her great-nieces and great-nephew, Abby and Laney Wensell, and Haley and Ryan Spitznagel, who brought her endless joy, pride, and many wonderful memories. Linda loved celebrating their accomplishments, milestones, and successes.
Linda also cherished the friendships built throughout her life. She was blessed with dear friends, whose laughter, and friendship brought her much happiness and many happy moments.
Linda found great joy in spending time with her family and friends. Whether sharing a meal, playing cards, or enjoying a game of bingo, those moments of togetherness brought her great happiness and created cherished memories that will be treasured forever. Though she will be deeply missed, the love she shared and the memories she created will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh 15236. A memorial service will immediately follow visitation at 2:00 pm in the funeral home's chapel.
