Linda Louise Diamond's Obituary
Linda Louise Diamond passed away on May 24, 2024, in Granville County, North Carolina, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and kindness that will forever be cherished. Linda was born on August 2, 1948, in Pittsburgh, the daughter of the late Robert and Josephine Mickelson.
Linda was the loving wife of 55 years to Michael Diamond, Jr., the dedicated mother to Michael Diamond III and Robin (Ronald) Camp, the beloved grandmother to Zachary Taylor Camp (Brieanna), Micaela Rose Camp (Lane Huff), Cole Powell, Cory Powell, and Amanda Vann; and the great grandmother of Zachary Stephen Camp, whom she adored. Linda also leaves her siblings, Patricia Watters, Bertha Burtoft, Robert Mickelson III, sister-in-law, Frances Main, and many extended family members and friends.
Linda was preceded in death by her sister, Sharon Mickelson and her sister-in-law, Michele McCleary.
Linda was a faithful member of Oxford Presbyterian Church in North Carolina, and her life was marked by her unwavering dedication and care to her family and friends. Linda’s greatest joy was the time spent making memories with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandson.
With her giving nature and caring personality, Linda will be remembered as a true caregiver who selflessly put others before herself. Her gentle smile and comforting presence provided solace during times of need for all those around her.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for visitation from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Saturday, June 1, 2024, and Sunday, June 2, 2024, at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236. A service in honor of Linda will be held in the chapel at the funeral home on Monday June 3, 2024, at 11:00 am. Interment will take place at Jefferson Memorial Park.
