It was a great blessing to know Lil and Ed Lauffer; what a joy they were to me, and to all affiliated with St. Matthew Lutheran Church and School. They were well loved. My joy is that they are together once more.

Jeff, Jim, and Families....
I am so very sorry to hear about the passing of your mom. She was such a gentle soul.....kindhearted and giving. May you find comfort in knowing that she is now with our Lord.
You are all in my thoughts and prayers....

Lil and Ed were among our favorite people from St. Matthew. They knew how to truly love people! They were always so very proud of their kids and grandkids. Ed taught me how to fix more things in a school environment... His legacy has lived on at many schools and ministries all over. I cannot forget how Lil always jumped in to make sure our students take were enjoying themselves and were “part of things” when they had outdoor ed at their camp up on the Allegheny. She was also one of the most beautiful women! Her inside informed her outside with spectacular results! I use past tense here only because of my memories. These two live in the most beautiful place ever! They rejoice, while we mourn. They cheer us all on still! They are sitting opposite from us during communion. Lil is missed here, yet she has pure joy in heaven. We have prayed for all of you. In Sympathy, Krista Nagy (Scott, Emma, and Andrew)
