Leopoldo "Leo" D'Enjoy's Obituary
Leopoldo “Leo” D'Enjoy, of Pittsburgh, son of the late Pedro and Concepción D’Enjoy, entered the presence of his Lord and Savior on Sunday, November 22, 2020.
Leo was beloved by many but especially by his life companion, Missy and her sister, Connie; as well as the two centers of his world, his daughters, Caitlin and Madelyn. The bond with his daughters was so strong and sweet. He was the best dad who could always make light in any situation. His optimism rubbed off on everyone. His playful sense of humor was broadcasted by his silly dad jokes. He was so patient, very wise, and always found ways to teach lessons. He had a new story to tell us every day and was always enthusiastic to share them. Leo was so warm and welcoming to everyone he met. He could attend Maddy’s softball games, meet someone for the first time, and by the end of the game, he could call them a friend. Leo was employed by ServiceLink, where he exemplified perfection and hard work. When you think of him, you think of his joy and appreciation for everyone and everything. Leo was the type of person you only met once in a lifetime. Love for Leo encompassed the globe from Venezuela, France, Spain, Italy, and Canada.
In addition to his lifelong partner and children, Leo is survived by his seven loving siblings and their spouses, Pedro (Julie), Hermann (the late Norah), Hugo (Beatriz), Franklin (Olga), Carlos (Carmen Victoria), Mariela (Thomas), and Alberto (Ingrid); as well as his many nieces and nephews. He was very proud of his god daughters, Noherma and Elizabeth, as well as her four siblings, Garrett, Ashley, Peighton, and Izzabella. A book could be written about his wonderful life as a dad, a brother, an uncle, and a friend. We have lost the most genuine soul; he will always be remembered as kind, gentle, empathetic, and fun. If you see a cardinal say, “Hello Leo, so glad you visited,” because when you see cardinals appear, angels are near.
Visitation will be held from on Friday, November 27th from 2 PM to 4 PM and 6 PM to 8 PM at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills, 15236. Funeral Services will be held privately for immediate family. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to a charity of your choice in Leo's memory. Condolences may be shared at www.jeffersonmemorial.biz
