Leeona M. Capo's Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of LeeOna M. (Ingram) Capo on October 30, 2024, at the age of 75.
During her last months, LeeOna was cared for by Jim Capo (Husband), Candy Capo (Daughter), and Kody Capo (Grandson). LeeOna passed peacefully in Washington, Pennsylvania surrounded by family who loved her dearly.
LeeOna was born on July 27, 1949 in Fredericksburg, Virginia to John Ingram and Flo Ingram.
LeeOna met the love of her life and beloved husband, Jim Capo, of nearly 50 years in Florida on Atlantic Beach in 1974 and married one year later in a little romantic church in Mayfort, Florida on August 9th, 1975.
LeeOna was known for her joy of traveling, strong will, nurturing of animals, unwavering determination, charismatic manner, and love and support for her family and friends.
LeeOna worked in restaurant services, as a nurse’s aid, and in the security sector. She also was a wonderful stay-at-home wife, mother, and grandmother.
Preceded in joining the Lord: John Ingram (father), Flo Ingram (mother), Margaret Ingram (sister).
Survived by: Jim Capo (Husband), Candy Capo (Daughter), Kody Capo (Grandson), Jimmy Capo (Son), Jess Capo (Daughter-in-Law), Jasper Capo (Grandson), Evelyn Capo (Granddaughter), Thomas Ingram (Brother).
Family and friends are invited to attend the Memorial service for LeeOna on Monday, November 18th, 2024 at 6pm in the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills, PA, 15236.
