Leah Agnes (Banyay) Best
Age 93, of West Mifflin, passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2016. Loving wife of 44 years to William John Best; beloved mother of Debbie S. Huston and the late William L. Best and Darleen L. Getz; grandmother of Brian (Myshell) Getz, Scott (Shannon) Huston, Megan (Nathan) Bindas, Leah Huston, Melanie (Jake Allan) Huston, and Billy John (Emily) Best; great grandmother of Andrew and Kyleigh Huston, Alayna and Landon Bindas; sister of Ruth Mirage and the late Kate Welsh, Charles, John, Paul and Edward Banyay. She was retired from Bell Telephone, Pittsburgh. During WWII, she operated a crane at Armco Steel Plant in Butler, PA. She loved to knit and crochet. Visitation will be held Tuesday 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills where Services will be held Wednesday at 11:30 am in the funeral home chapel. Interment in Jefferson Memorial Park. Donations may be made to her family.
