Dear sweet Mr. DelRosso, One of my very favorite teachers, back in 1961-63. Such a great person. So kind and caring. He was only 35 when he was teaching me. I wasn't very good at art, but he was kind to me any way. I can only imagine what a great father, grandfather and great-grandfather he was. May he rest in peace.

I was one of Mr. D's students over 50 years ago. Even though I wasn't much of an artistic talent he was always encouraging and I looked forward to his class every day for three years. Education was very fortunate that he chose teaching as his career path. RIP Mr. D. Sue Ayers Class of 67
Larry, Alan and Family, We were so deeply sorry to hear about the passing of your Dad. I have such wonderful memories of him and your Mom. His garden was a thing of beauty! Just seeing him sitting on the porch in the evening was a reminder that all was right in the neighborhood. Art was never one of my strong suits, but I vividly recall how he let me help him with the ceramic molds at the summer recreation program back in the 60’s. But most of all I remember his patience, his kindness, and his warm smile. The last time I saw him was at my Mom’s funeral. I was so touched that he came to see all of us.
