Larry E. Ging's Obituary
Lawrence Ging, 77, of Pittsburgh, PA., passed away on November 15, 2024 in his hometown of Pittsburgh, PA. He was born June 10, 1947 to the late Albin and Violanda Ging.
Larry's legacy is carried forward by his loving wife, Deborah Ging, his beloved sons Brandon (Mindy) Ging and Larry (Julie) Ging, and his adored grandchildren Evan, Nathan, Gabriel, Vienna, and Tristan.
Larry proudly served his country as an Army veteran stationed in Germany before returning to his roots in Pittsburgh. He found great joy in coaching youth football at West Jefferson Hills School District, instilling the values of teamwork and discipline in young athletes. A man of unwavering faith and commitment, Larry's life was a living example of devotion, whether on the field, with his family, or in his spiritual community. His memory will be cherished as a beloved husband, father, grandfather, coach, and friend.
Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, November 20th, 2024 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills, PA, 15236.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, November 21st, 2024 at 11am at St. Thomas A' Becket Roman Catholic Church - Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, 139 Gill Hall Rd, Clairton, PA 15025.
Burial will be handled by the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Saint Thomas A' Becket Roman Catholic Church - Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, 139 Gill Hall Rd, Clairton, PA 15025.
