LaVerne Lawson's Obituary
LaVerne L. Lawson, age 95, of Clairton, passed away surrounded by her loving family and went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 25, 2021.
She was the wife of the late Gordon E. Lawson.
LaVerne is survived by her three sons, Skip (Frances) Lawson, Jay (Leslie) Lawson, Jeff (Cindy) Lawson; daughter, Mary (Beryl) Denne; 13 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter and one great-great grandson as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends and her best friend Judy Essey.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Anna (Smith) Wallace, and a son, Colin G. Lawson.
She was an avid reader and an excellent scrabble player.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 PM, Thursday, May 27, 2021 at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills, 15236. A funeral service will be 10 AM, Friday in the funeral home chapel.
Memorial contributions in LaVerne's name may be made to Pine Run Methodist Church, 901 N. Sixth Street, Clairton, PA 15025 .
