Laura "Becky" Worton's Obituary
Laura R. "Becky" Worton,76, of Finleyville, entered Eternal Peace on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, in the comfort of her own home, surrounded by her loving family.
Becky was born on April 27, 1946, in Homestead, the loving daughter of the late R. Earl and Martha Grindle.
Becky is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Wayne Worton; two beloved daughters, Robin Fortunato (Greg) and Donna Franco (Ralph); her grandchildren, whom she adored, Gregory Jr., Michael (Raichelle), Alexander and Becca; and her brother, William Grindle. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Robert Grindle.
Becky enjoyed a long career as a school bus driver for 45 years. She was a very talented quilter and loved embroidery. Her biggest joy in life was the time spent with her family, and her grandchildren, to whom she was lovingly known as 'Ganner.'
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for visitation on Friday, August 19, 2022 from 6- 9 pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15236.
A private funeral service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Becky's memory to St. Jude's Hospital for Children, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
