Lance Martin Davis' Obituary
Lance Davis, a beloved brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2023, in Pittsburgh, PA, just one day shy of his 61st birthday. Born on June 18, 1962, in Pittsburgh, Lance was the son of the late Albert and Darlene Davis.
Lance is survived by his brother, Mark Davis, and nephew, Marcus Wagner and his family, who will remember him for his humor and ability to tell it how it is.
Lance was a successful entrepreneur who owned and operated an HVAC company in Pittsburgh. His expertise in math and engineering, particularly geometry, allowed him to excel in his field.
A true outdoorsman, Lance found solace and joy in hunting and fishing, especially in Venango County. He cherished the time spent in nature, surrounded by the beauty and tranquility of the Pennsylvania wilderness. Lance's love for animals extended beyond the great outdoors, as he was known to have a soft spot for dogs and would often be seen feeding the neighborhood critters, including raccoons, deer, and turkeys.
Memorial contributions may be made in Lance's name to Animal Friends at thinkingoutsidethecage.org, an organization that Lance supported for many years.
As we remember Lance, we celebrate a life well-lived on Thursday, June 22 from 5-7 in the evening at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236. A funeral service will be held at 7 P.M. in the funeral home chapel.
