Age 25, currently of Slidell, LA, formerly of Jefferson Hills, PA, passed accidentally on the morning of Saturday, February 20, 2016 while on his job with Norfolk Southern Railroad. Beloved son of Daniel and Ruth Liebold; loving brother of Natalie and Erin Liebold; grandson of the late Eugene and Hattie Liebold and Simon and LaVerna Kimutis. Family was important to Kyle and therefore he will be treasured by relatives in Ohio, Florida, North Carolina, as well as Pennsylvania. Kyle will be remembered by friends in the Pittsburgh area, Erie, and New Orleans, LA. Kyle was a 2008 graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School where he participated as a trombone player in the band. He attended Pennsylvania State University Behrend Campus in Erie and graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Business with Engineering. Kyle worked summers at Steel Center AVTS and Duquesne University. An avid lover of trains, he landed his dream job with Norfolk Southern Railroad starting at the Conway Yard outside of Pittsburgh. From there he transferred to the Lake Erie District, then to Memphis, TN, and finally New Orleans, LA. While attending PSBehrend, he became a volunteer in the Brookside Fire Company and the Perry Hi-Way Hose Company. Upon receiving his EMT certification he was employed by the Jefferson Hills Area Ambulance Association and remained involved whenever he was in Pittsburgh. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and kayaking. Visitation will be held Sunday 1-9 pm at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills. Funeral Services will be held Monday 10:30 am at the Pleasant Hills Community Presbyterian Church. Interment in Jefferson Memorial Park. Family requests, in lieu of flowers, donations to be made to the Brookside Fire Company of Erie, www.eriepafire.com, or Jefferson Hills Area Ambulance Association, www.jhems.com.
