Kumar Sewa's Obituary
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Kumar Sewa, who departed this life on May 28, 2026, at the age of 75. Born on January 1, 1951, in Gelephug, Bhutan, Kumar resided in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he built a loving family and community.
Kumar is survived by his devoted spouse, Asha Sewa, and their children: Uriel Sewa, Asher Sewa, Bijay Sewa, and Rachel Tamang. He also leaves behind a cherished legacy, including one grandson and five granddaughters, who will remember him fondly for his love and wisdom.
The family invites all who knew and loved Kumar to join them in honoring his life and memory. A graveside service will be held at Jefferson Memorial Park on June 6, 2026, at 1:00 PM
Kumar Sewa will be laid to rest at Jefferson Memorial Park, located at 401 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236. As we gather to celebrate his life, we encourage everyone to share memories and stories that reflect the profound impact he made in the lives of those around him.
