Alison Beach
I am writing on behalf of the entire Beach family (Charlotte, Buddy, Carrie (Donato), & Alison) who all felt that Kim was family. My mom, Charlotte, said, \"There are just so many things to say I wouldn't know where to start. I always say one of the best things that ever happened to me was when I called Exsalonce for the first time for a hair appointment and they booked me with Kim. From that first appointment 20-25 years ago, she just became part of our family. She came to our home and did my hair when I had my knee surgery.\" Which meant and still means so very much to us. \"She did all of our hair one time or another: children (Alana (Ann below), Carrie, & Alison), grandchildren (Malissa & Emily), & niece (Ashley Hudgins).\" I (Alison) live in Chicago & will not be able to attend the viewing or service, but members of my family will be present to honor our sweet Kim & our beautiful memories of her. Like Lugene wrote below, I'll never forget Kim saying, \"Let's make you gorgeouser!\" Which I thought was just for me...well, she sure made it seem that way...that I was beautiful in her eyes. She was beautiful in ours! She always had a smile on her face & hug to greet me with. I'm still searching for a hairstylist who compares with her, but I know I won't find one. My first memory of Kim was when I was 13 (now 39)...actually, that may have been my first haircut! She cut it shoulder-length and styled it for a middle school dance. She also dyed my hair red when I was in high school. After I went away for college and then moved out of state, I would still schedule appointments with her when I was home or at least go to see her when my mom had an appointment. I'll always wish that I had gotten to hang out with Kim outside of the salon for a girls' night out. Although I haven't met Jacob or Sydney, I feel like I have, as I got to hear about you both as you grew up and I am just so very sorry for your loss. We've been praying for you, your dad, & family that you will find peace & feel comforted knowing that she loved you and is smiling & laughing again without any pain. She was our friend & is now an angel who will watch over & protect her family until they are together, again. Sending our love & prayers that you will feel her love & warmth during the holiday season & always.
