My condolences to the Bethel family. I have many fond memories working with Kevin. He was a true gentleman and scholar, who was universally liked by everyone. He brightened up every meeting with his stories and insights. He made a difference and impacted so many of us. Rest in Peace.

I would look forward to seeing Kevin when I visited the HRH office. He never failed to greet me with a big smile and was known to delightfully crash a meeting to talk about Pitt’s sports fortunes, good and bad! He was impossible not to like. We clients all knew he had our backs and would bring his considerable skills to meet any challenge. He’ll long be remembered as a genuine and humble person, warm, caring and kind. Kevin was a good friend to all who knew him. Kind, good hearted, and always had a good story to tell. His smile at Youghiogheny Country Club will be missed.
I will always be grateful for Kevin's guidance and encourage. Even when I would decide to step back from something, he would simply sit back and smile and say, ok, knowing my overachiever personality would force me back into the race. It always did. And, when I thought I was approaching Kevin for a job not knowing he had sent Billie Shaeffer to have me call him. It was a win win for both of us, I think, but a gift for me to work with such a uniquely gifted man. Kevin was a one of a kind, true gentleman. Will always remember his smile.
