Beloved husband of 53 years of Judith A. Wolfe. Loving father of Rachael Kelly (Bill) and Kenneth Wolfe, Jr. (Angela). Loving grandfather of Brandon Diveglia (Malorie), Michael McFeely (Alyssa), Timothy Wolfe, Holden Kelly and Eva Kelly. Great-grandfather to Luna and Liam Diveglia. Ken was born in Youngstown, Ohio on October 1, 1950. Ken graduated from Keystone Oaks High School in 1969. He was a very hard working man who was employed by Duquesne Light/Reliant Energy for 38 years. Most of those years were spent at the Elrama Power Station where he met his life-long friend and best buddy, Dave. Together they enjoyed great times fishing and sharing family vacations.
Ken loved riding his Harley and taking his Corvette to car shows. His main passion in life was his beloved Castle Shannon Volunteer Fire Department, where he was a life member for 51 years. He served as president of the organization from 1990-1991 and 2009-2014. He worked on various committees but most of all loved the carnival committee. He would take his family on this journey with him to work parties and taught his children to live their lives to help others and give back to their community. He was very proud of the organization and his brother firemen. He was honored to receive the department President Award in 2019.
In later life, Ken enjoyed spending time with his many friends at the Coal Mine and American Legion. He enjoyed having a beer, telling jokes, and swapping stories.
The family would like to thank all of the memory care staff and resident families at Paramount Peters Township for making Ken feel comfortable and safe during his stay.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 10, 2025 from 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236.
