Kenneth N. Craig's Obituary
Kenneth N. Craig, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on March 1, 2026, at the age of 85. Born on August 2, 1940, in Pittsburgh, Ken spent his life dedicated to his family and his work. A proud steel worker, he retired as Foreman at Pittsburgh Forging after many years in the steel manufacturing industry.
Ken was known for his infectious smile and vibrant sense of humor. He brought joy and laughter to every gathering, often being the life of the party. His love for the outdoors was evident in his cherished visits to his cabin at Pymatuning Lake, where he enjoyed floating on the lake, fishing, and hunting.
He was a devoted husband to Harriet for 65 wonderful years, and together they built a loving family. As "Pap Pap," he had deep connections with each grandchild through singing, storytelling, advice, and his signature jokes, ensuring they always felt special in his presence.
Ken is survived by his wife, Harriet (Glowacki) Craig; his children, Denise (Dan) Craig-Lewis, Kenneth (Debra) Craig, Jr., Connie Miller, and Gerrie (R.D.) Krah; his grandchildren, Ken Craig, III, Ryan Craig, Hunter Craig, Rob Krah, Matt Krah, and Jennifer Velez; great-grandchildren, Oliver Conrad Krah, Chandler and Dylan Craig ;his brother, Bryce Craig and sister, Janet Debold; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Bryce and Dorothy Craig; and his siblings, Judy Neimeyer and Ray Craig.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday, March 5th from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236.
A Blessing Service will be held on Friday, March 6th at 12 P.M. in the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.
