Kenneth R. "Kenny" Baird's Obituary
Kenneth R. "Kenny" Baird, age 67, of Bethel Park, passed away peacefully at St. Clair Hospital on May 24, 2026. Son of the late Kenneth and Marian Baird. Beloved brother of Annie (the late Larry) Puhalla, the late Cathy (the late Charles) McMinn and the late John (Gwen) Baird. Cherished uncle of Rob (Kelly) Baird, Kim Baird, Megan (Craig) Celestino, Douglas (Charity) McMinn, Scott (Jaime) McMinn, Drew (Julie) McMinn, and the late Casey McMinn.
Kenny was a loving, sweet soul always concerned for the happiness of his family and friends. He was the poster child for smiling and a true ambassador of God's love.
During his childhood in Forest Hills he enjoyed playing his guitar and keyboard, listening to music, swimming at the Forest Hills Pool, and participating in Special Olympic events. Kenny's favorite destinations were the Jersey Shore, Deep Creek Lake and his many trips to visit his aunts, uncles, and cousins in Scotland and England.
Kenny attended St. Anthony's School in Oakmont and the Eastern Area School in Churchill. Following graduation, he joined ACHIEVA and participated in their sheltered workshop program. In 2011, Kenny joined Step by Step, Inc where he was blessed with the most wonderful loving friends and caregivers.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for visitation from 2:00 -4:00 pm and 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Friday, May 29, 2026, at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Hope Parish, St. Germaine Church, 7003 Baptist Rd, Bethel Park, PA 15102. Burial will follow at Penn Lincoln Memorial Park.
