Keith L. Baggus' Obituary
Keith Baggus, 76, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2026, after several bouts of cancer over the last few years. He was born on July 11, 1949, in Pittsburgh, PA, to Lewis Baggus and Mildred Baggus. Keith is preceded in death by Lewis T. Baggus (Father), Mildred M. Baggus (Mother), Lewis Baggus (Brother), and Carl Baggus (Brother) and resided in Collier Township is entire life.
Keith is survived by Jack and Donna Weatherby (Cousins) of Beaver, PA, their children Laurie, John, James, Sister-In-Law Karen Baggus, and his extended family Rob and Melissa Martrano (Formerly Wanker) and their family; Robert (Ally), and Rylie (Michael).
Keith was a Chartiers Valley High School and CCAC alum. He started his career path with Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel and spent his remaining career as a River Transportation Manager for Mon River Towing (Guttman Oil) and CONSOL Energy. He was an avid fan of all things related to trains and President of The Pittsburgh Garden Railway Society. Keith was a man of faith and volunteered and supported the Carnegie United Methodist Church throughout his entire life. As an elected delegate to the annual United Methodist Conference for several years, he took great pride and responsibility in the nomination. He was an American history scholar and keeper of Pittsburgh history knowledge beyond comprehension. Keith was also a talented and enthusiastic baker, more specifically a cookie connoisseur. His gift or volunteer for baking delicious cookies were known everywhere by many. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Keith will be laid to rest at Jefferson Memorial Cemetery with the rest of his family (401 Curry Hollow Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15236)
A Celebration of Life Service for Keith Baggus will be held at 3pm on March 21,2026 at The Table Church, 100 Crossroads Drive, Oakdale, PA 15071
Memorial donations can be made in Keith's name to the United Methodist Church.
