Catherine A. “Kay” Kukich, age 85, of Pleasant Hills, passed away peacefully while surrounded by the love of her husband Sylvester (Cook) Kukich of 60 years on Wednesday, July 31, 2024. Kay was born in Donora, PA, on December 15, Read Obituary
I worked with Kay in the Alcoa Tax Dept. for over 10 years. She was very professional and thorough and did a wonderful job overseeing us secretaries. She always remembered our birthday and hosted memorable Secretaries Week lunches! She will be missed at our retiree events and picnics. Kay was a very special lady.
I felt like a PARC member even before I retired because Kay worked at the PARC desk near me on the 5th floor. She kept me up to date on PARC events and the retirees. I enjoyed having lunch with the Board when they met each month.
She often called me after she was unable to attend the Holiday lunch and would send in her check for the donation box.
She was an amazing woman and a devoted PARC volunteer.
I've known Kay since 1960. How grateful I am that she befriended me at work and never let that friendship lapse. I loved her then and I love her now. Vonnie
