Kathleen Peelor's Obituary
Kathleen Peelor, age 90, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Kathy was born on November 14, 1934 in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Leroy and Edna Price.
Kathy took great joy in bowling on a league, where she made countless memories and friends. Together with James, she enjoyed traveling, with their journeys often leading them to casinos from Las Vegas to Atlantic City. In her later years, she kept online retailers thriving with her frequent purchases.
Kathy is survived by her devoted husband of 73 years, James Peelor; her children, Debra (Richard) Hamel, James Peelor, Jr. and Kimberly (Richard) Schaeffer; her brother, Robert Price; her grandchildren, Tara, Erik, Ethan, Garrett, Hayley, Nicholas and Kasey; as well as her great-grandchildren, Neila, Liadan and Eamonn.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her son, Gary Peelor; and her sisters, Audrey Wessel and Thelma Schaefer.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, April 2nd from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236.
A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, April 3rd at 12 P.M. in the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.
