Kathleen Hurst's Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Kathleen Anne (Leslie) Hurst, 74, who left us too soon on March 3, 2025. She was the beloved wife of 20 years to Thomas Hurst.
Kathleen is survived by her daughter Erika Klockziem (Kevin), her sisters Bonnie Imhoff (Michael), Beverly Rothhaar (Bob), and many nieces and nephews.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents Lois and Paul Leslie.
Kathleen was known for her love of the University of Pittsburgh. As a recent retiree after 30 years of employment at Pitt, Kathleen would still work at the University when needed, as she loved her job and her colleagues.
Upon retiring, Kathleen enjoyed spending time with family, vacationing in Northern Michigan to visit her daughter and son-in-law, exercising, and playing with her dogs, Riley and Murphy.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for visitation on Sunday, March 9, 2025 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, 15236.
A Funeral Mass will be held Monday March 10, 2025 at 11:30 am at Church of the Resurrection, 1100 Creedmoor Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15226, followed by a private committal service at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
