Kathleen A. McKeegan's Obituary
Kathleen Anne McKeegan, 64, of Pittsburgh, died May 22, 2021, at her Brookline home.
Miss McKeegan was born August 21,1956, in Pittsburgh, PA to Hugh F McKeegan and Mildred Parrish McKeegan.
She attended South Hills High School and continued her education at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, graduating in 1980 with a bachelor’s degree in physics.
Kathleen began her career with a position at Beaver Valley Power station, near Shippingport, PA., a nuclear plant. She worked there almost ten years before taking a position at Duquesne Light Company. Her career came to an end in 1992 when her health prevented her from working.
She had enormous love for her cats. They occupied her days. She also liked taking walks and listening to music.
She is survived by her sister, Lois Kemmerling of Titusville, FL and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Daniel McKeegan, andsister, Vivian Watkins.
A chapel service will be held at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home 301 Curry Hollow Road, 15236, on Saturday, June 5, at noon followed by a short crypt side prayer. Online condolences can be left at https://www.jeffersonmemorial.biz
