Karen Lynn Luciow's Obituary
Karen Lynn Luciow, 77, of West Mifflin, PA. passed away on December 25, 2024. Born in Duquesne, PA to John and Gladys Morrow on January 1, 1947.
Karen embraced life's journey as a dedicated homemaker, nurturing her children with unwavering love and support. She served for many years as an active member and treasurer on the local Parent-Teacher Association.
In 1994, Karen entered the workforce, dedicating 22 years of service to the medical records department at UPMC Shadyside Hospital. Her diligent work ethic and compassionate nature touched the lives of her colleagues and those she served.
Karen's zest for life was evident in her diverse interests. She loved traveling with her husband, Richard. In addition, they enjoyed going to the Oldies dances and also to Renzie Park to listen to live oldies bands. She cherished time spent with her children and grandchildren, taking them to their various sporting events. She also spent time as a instructor of Hawaiian dance classes in her younger years. Karen found joy in crossword puzzles, visiting Florida to see her cousins, her daughter and her palm trees.
Karen Luciow's legacy of love, dedication, and vibrant spirit will forever be etched in the hearts of all who knew her.
Karen is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Richard Luciow; children Pamela (George) Bianchi and Jason (Amy) Luciow; grandchildren George Bianchi, Michael (Katlyn) Bianchi, Brandon Luciow. She is preceded in death by her parents.
Friends and family will be received from 2-4pm and 6-8pm on Sunday, December 29, 2024 at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills, PA, 15236.
Burial will be handled by Jefferson Memorial Park.
