June Ellen Bergin's Obituary
On January 19th June Ellen Bergin passed away peacefully in her sleep, at 95 years of age, finally joining her husband, Ralph Edward Bergin. She was his “pumpkin” and he was the love of her life. June loved watching old movies, reading the newspaper from front to back, and all animals (especially her pup dogs). After Ralph passed in 2008, she lived by herself in a condo and drove until she was 93. At 90 she turned down an offer to have her own covered parking space close to the front door of the condo because she thought it should be given to an “old person”. June and Ralph’s social life consisted mainly of making good friends of the owners, waitresses, and bartenders of most of the eating and drinking establishments around Pittsburgh and their vacation destinations. Together they also had the great pleasure of raising one two wonderful sons: James and Ralph Jr. (the much younger, dynamic, and better-looking one).
June and Ralph adored their three daughters-in-law: Marilyn, Maryanne, and Mary Jane, to the point that they probably would have gladly kept them and tossed their husbands. As for their grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, well, good luck keeping this straight:
James and Marilyn: Grandchildren: Brian (Traci), Deborah "Dee" (David Jones); Great Grandchildren: Camille, Erin, and Matthew.
Ralph and Maryanne: Grandchildren: Jillian "Jill" (Todd Ronci) Jesse, Jaclyn "Jaci" (Nick Reed), Jenna (Chas Patton), Juliet (Alexander Oleynik), Justine (Anthony Quach); Great Grandchildren: Ashley, Maxwell “Max”, Olivia "Livy", Devin, Nolan "Nuggs", Blakely "Schnoops", Jessica, Cooper, Camryn "Cam", Peyton, Oliver "Ollie", Nikolai "Niko", Josephine "Josie", and Elliot "Ellie"; Great-Great Grandchild: Dylan.
James and Mary Jane: Grandchildren: Michele (Jeff Neuville), Linda (Thad Huffman), Aimee (Brian Davis), and Brian (Julie Francois), Great Grandchildren, Claire, Benjamin, Andy (Kristin), Shannon, Tyler, Brandon (Jessica), Amanda (Matthew), Kailey, Braeden, and Samantha; Great-Great Grandchildren: Parker, Cooper, and Ben.
