Joyce Claire Joyce's Obituary
Joyce Claire Joyce, age 86, formerly of Grove City, passed away March 25, 2026 surrounded by her loving family in Fredericksburg Virginia.
Joyce married young and raised two daughters, Daryl Ann Moiseenko and Lynnette Ross, who were the lights of her life.
A devoted Christian, Joyce passionately shared her love of Jesus with those around her. Her sweet and vibrant personality touched the lives of all who knew her. In her spare time, she found joy in crocheting, painting, reading, gardening, cooking, and nurturing the family pets that brought her so much happiness.
After more than 25 years of dedicated service as a front desk hostess at Grove City College, where she was affectionately known as "JJ," Joyce earned the love and admiration of countless students and coworkers. Many of them remained in touch even after her retirement. She often remarked that the students kept her young at heart.
Joyce is survived by her devoted daughters, Daryl Ann Moiseenko and Lynnette Ross (Ernie Dill); her sister, Georgia Ballasher; adoring grandchildren, Lauren Surber (Phil), Stacia Biagini (Sultan Aljohani), Natalie Harmon (John) and Justin Biagini (Monette); her beloved great-grandchildren, Philip, Andrew, Lydia, Sophia, Stephen, Zayn, Lorelei, Johnny, Koda, Riley and Spencer; and her best friends, Mary Jo and Bryan Walter and family.
Joyce was predeceased by her husband, Richard Joyce; her parents, Joseph and Martha Moiseenko; and her siblings, Janice Johnston and Dale Moiseenko.
