Joseph L. Sobeck's Obituary
Joseph L. Sobeck, age 75, of Pittsburgh, passed away surrounded by his loving family on March 11, 2020.
Joseph is survived by his beloved wife, Vivian (Stepanek) Sobeck; cherished children, Joseph (Lisa) Sobeck and Carrie (Hugh) Cleary; as well as five grandsons, Austin Sobeck, Brandon Sobeck, Nathan Sobeck, Noah Sobeck, Benjamin Cleary; and two granddaughters, Alana Cleary and Brianna Sobeck. He is also survived by his three sisters, Eileen (the late Ronald) Attanucci, Corinne Sobeck, and Diana (Charles) Rusnic, and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was the beloved son of the late Joseph and Hattie Sobeck and was also blessed to be loved by many sisters and brothers, both late and surviving.
Joe was a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Vietnam War Era. Joe's family always came first, he adored spending time with his beautiful wife of 53 years, and their children and grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew him.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13, 2020, 2:00 - 4:00 pm & 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills, 15236. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Nativity Catholic Church on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at 10:00 am. Committal to follow at Jefferson Memorial Park.
