Joseph Henry Richard, Jr.'s Obituary
Joseph Henry Richard, Jr., age 56, of Bethel Park, formerly of Danbury, Ct, entered into his eternal resting place on Saturday, August 29, 2020.
Joe is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Rose (Lacek) Richard. Devoted father of Ashley (Robert) Nieman, Joseph Henry Richard III, and Anna Marie Richard. Adored PapPap of Madison Lynn Richard, Robert James Nieman, and Noah Paul Nieman. Brother of Linda Richard, Richard Rapelye, Robert Rapelye, Ronald Rapelye, and Sunshine Johnson. Joe is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and life-long friend, James Cannon.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Joseph Henry Richard, Sr., and Barbra Baxter Rapelye.
Joe enjoyed history, classical movies, Johnny Cash, and Hershey's chocolate. His all-time favorite pastime though, was having his children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews over for his famous mashed potatoes and he will be sorely missed by those who loved him.
Due to the current health restrictions we are currently experiencing only 25 people will be allowed in the funeral home at one time, facial coverings are a must, and physical distancing is encouraged.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 pm at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills, 15236. A Blessing Service will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at 12 pm.
