Joseph A. Pencosky's Obituary
Joseph A. Pencosky, 74, of South Park, entered Eternal Peace on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, in the comfort of his own home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 25, 1948, the loving son of the late Joseph and Frances (Timko) Pencosky.
Joseph is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Marie Pencosky; his daughter, Stacy (Lou) Broccoli; sister, Nancy; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Jeffrey Pencosky.
Joseph grew up in Carnegie where he attended local schools. He proudly served our country in the United States Air Force from 1967 - 1971. In his free time, he enjoyed working on restoring his 1965 Mustang, and spending time with his friends at the Willock Italian Club, where he was affectionately known as "Joe P." Above all, his greatest joy in life was the time spent with his family.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for visitation on Friday, December 30, 2022 from 1- 5 pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236. Military honors will be held at 5:00 pm. Burial will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Joseph's honor may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, 600 River Ave Suite 400, Pittsburgh, PA 15212.
