Hey Brother, In the beginning we didn't always get along, but a mutual friendship of love and respect eventually formed. Over 36 years of working together 8 plus hours a day, you get to know someone. I'm going to miss trying to tell you something knowing by the look on your face, that you were just waiting for the noise to stop, to tell me your thoughts. You were always Mr. Clean and mister organized. I told people if your hands were dirty, that you just fell. Always had the shorts on in 20 degree weather. When we had a complicated cut on a print job we would brain storm to get it perfect. When you asked me if I thought the cut should be .125 or .123 and I was thinking and hesitated with my answer you would hit me with the Top Gun quote \"Talk to me Goose.\" LOL. Well, I Love you Brother and I'm really going to miss you. See you on the other side. In the mean time, when I need help with a decision I'll reach out with a ...
\"Talk to me Goose.\"
We send our sincere condolences to you. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
Joe,
You were the strongest man that I ever knew. You were such a hard worker! You made cancer look so easy. You never gave up the fight even in the end. I know you were fighting for all of us.
Thank you for loving me and all 3 of the boys. We will miss you everyday.
I Love You, Trudy
Our deepest sympathy to all friends and family.
I had the pleasure of living on the same street as the Barca family. I'm seventeen years older than Joe, but his close friendship with my nephews, enabled me to watch him grow. Our friendship became closer when I had the privilege of working with him for over thirty years at the University of Pittsburgh. I tried to be mentor for \"Spike\", but his tireless work ethic, desire for perfection along with his love for his wife and children. I started feeling like he was my mentor. I loved him like a little brother. He will be missed by all who knew him.
\"...Eye hath not seen nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for them that love Him.\" Enjoy!
I am so sorry to hear of Spike’s passing. 😢
