Dear Arcuri Family: We are saddened to learn about Joe’s passing. My husband Steve was a childhood friend of Joe’s. They lived on the same street. I met Joe as a teenager through my husband. We would all meet in the Ponderosa parking lot in West Mifflin and then go to eat, hang out at someone’s house, or play walleyball. Joe was always the fun and happy guy in the group. Though we hadn’t seen him in ages, we never forgot about him. He truly was a wonderful person with a great big smile. We are so very sorry for your loss. Karen and Steve Danko

May you rest in peace Joe! Joe was the man that introduced me to a man that would later become my husband while he was working at CCAC. Joe was awesome. As a young student, Joe helped shape me as a future leader. Through the years my husband and me talked about some of the wonderful things Joe did. We were honored to call him a friend. May the chorus of angels sing welcome you into heaven. May you joke and have fun with Keith (my husband) in heaven. Hopefully, the two are playing volleyball or other fun event in heaven.

Joe worked in Student Life at CCAC South Campus before teaching. We were great friends. When there was time, we played furious ping pong. I never beat him. Not once in dozens of games. But, I beat others because of playing him. He was a good man. RIP.
