I taught with John for many years at Carrick High School. He was certainly a favorite of mine and, really, everyone. \"John Z\" will never be forgotten.
As his student in the late 70’s he was one of my favorite teachers. He knew and I knew I wasn’t headed in the direction of becoming a physicist, but he made me feel comfortable being among the math brainiacs. He would always ask me if I was holding court and I didn’t realize he was pointing me in the direction of becoming a lawyer as I had the gift of gab! Forever in my heart Mr Z! Rest In Peace ❤️
