John Yablonski's Obituary
John Yablonski, age 99, of Bethel Park, formerly of Baldwin Borough, passed away peacefully on September 20th, 2021.
John is survived by his children Diane Gross and Dennis (Veronica) Yablonsky; his grandchildren Jonathan (Brooke) Gross, Katie (Dylan) Cline and Krissy (Bryan) Dunn; four great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 73 years, Jean Yablonski; parents, Metod and Tatiana Yablonsky; siblings, Mary Wentz and Michael Yablonsky.
John was a veteran of WWII and served in the Army Air Corps as a navigator. He spent his entire career in sales in the trucking industry and was Vice President of the Suwak Trucking Company. He held a law degree in transportation and was a life-long member of St. Elizabeth Parish. His happiest times were spent with family as a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was a selfless, humble man, a wonderful dancer and loved to bake his famous zucchini bread.
Friends will be received on Friday, September 24, 2021, from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 301 Curry Hollow Road Pittsburgh, PA 15236.
A Blessing Service will follow at 4:00 PM in the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made in John's name to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
