John A.
John "Jack" Surmick, Jr., Age 69, of Pittsburgh, entered the gates of Heaven on August 12, 2017. Beloved Husband of 43 years to Lorraine F. Surmick (Garczewski). Cherished Dad of Kristie Schwartz and Father in-law to James Schwartz. Treasured Pappy to his beloved grandchildren, Derrek and Heather Schwartz. Adored Brother of Frederick J. Surmick. Jack was also a loving Uncle, God-Father and Friend. Jack lived life to the fullest and was a treasure to all who knew him. His greatest gift was putting a smile on all those in his life, 69 years was not enough and we will miss him dearly. Family and friends will be received on Friday from 12 - 3 p.m. & 5 - 9 p.m. at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Rd, Pittsburgh PA 15236.
