Age 61, of South Park passed away under hospice care at Jefferson Hills Manor on July 17, 2018. Beloved husband of 27 years to Amy Elizabeth Joy Raymond (Bittner); Dog Dad to Buddy; Son of the late Robert and Adelaide Raymond, Previous owners of Century III Dodge; Brother of Robert (Debra) of South Park, Terry Ann of South Park, Gerry (Elisa) of Peters Twp, Mark (Deborah) of Peters Twp, Gary (Cassie) of South Park, and Renee of Pleasant Hills; Son in law of Antoinette (the late Walter) Bittner; Brother in law of Christopher (daughter Haven), Scott and James; also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
John was blessed to receive a liver transplant, but became sick again 9 months later. He fought tirelessly for 7 years until his passing. The family would like to give special thanks to his transplant doctors, hepotologists at UPMC Montefiore. Also the family would like to thank the staff at 11 and 12 North for their utmost compassion. John truly cared for them. John loved traveling, camping in West Virginia with friends, riding his motorcycle and his pets.
Visitation for John will be held on Thursday from 2-4 And 6-9 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Pleasant Hills. A Blessing Service will take place on Friday at 10 AM in the funeral home chapel.
