Family and Friends of John J. McCluskey Jr., May God comfort and support you in the time of your loss. My prayers and thoughts are with you. We played football together at Baldwin, he was a terrific man and athlete. “Let not your heart be troubled; ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions. If it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” John 14: 1 -3 God Bless and Keep You, Lou Slautterback Baldwin High School 1963
Marilyn and all of John's family I am so very very sorry to hear about John. I was John's cousin through the Taylor Family. I remember being at his wedding. Fortunately, even though it was a few years ago, I bowled next to John & Marilyn at Princess Lanes. It was so nice to see him. We would reminisce about our younger days. Talking about sports & family. He was a terrific man. He always was so happy with a big smile on his face. Rest in peace, John. I will keep you in my heart. God bless all of you at this difficult time. Keep the good memories close to your hearts. My deepest sympathy, Karyn ( Apel ) Hyland

John was not only our brother -in - law but a great friend for some 60 years. He loved Marilyn, Kelly, Kristy and grandkids and would keep us updated with stories of Family outings and vacations. He was always first to volunteer when BHS class reunions were put together. Bev and I will greatly miss \" Big John\" and hope to see him again when we all go home. Our deepest sympathy to the McCluskey Family. We love you - take care of everyone
Marilyn, Kellie, and Kristy, Cornelia send our deepest condolences. I always enjoyed John's company since I met him in jr high school and am saddened for your loss. Although our contacts have been reduced to reunions over the years when I think of him the words integrity, generosity, loyalty, and kindness come to mind.
Marilyn and family, I am truly saddened to hear of your loss. I pray for peace in this difficult time. Betty (Kightlinger) Scholl
