John Michael Kostek's Obituary
John M. Kostek, 68, of Pittsburgh, a beacon of love and gentleness passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, April 14, 2024. Born on January 13, 1956, in Pittsburgh.
John is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Amy (Wardrop) Kostek. Loving dad of John R. Kostek and Michael Kostek. John is also survived by his beloved grand fur-kids; Bane and Gordon. Loving brother of Kathy Beck and Carol (Rick) Meyers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Agnes Kostek.
John always enjoyed working with his hands and after leaving Radiology he worked at Haddad's as Trailer Technician for about 5 years; until his retirement. He also enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter, camper, fisherman, and golfer.
Friends and family will be received Tuesday, April 16, 2024 from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road Pittsburgh, PA 15236.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 17, 2024, 10 am in the funeral home's chapel.
