My deepest sympathies on the loss of your dear father. I was out of the country and just returned, so sorry this is a bit late, but no less heartfelt. Uncle Jack was such a quietly strong man and as my godfather, he modeled such a kind, sincere character, which I feel has been passed down to my children and grandchildren, as I am sure it has to your children and grandchildren as well. Jack- I saw this announcement because of my mom's obituary and I wondered, but guessed, that it was possibly your dad. I am sorry that you are also going through this. I am Kristen, Norm Simmons' daughter, and I am very sorry about the passing of your father. He was always a very nice man. We always enjoyed the dinners we shared together with him and your mom and my dad. It was fun listening to all the old stories they used to tell. I am sure he will be greatly missed, especially on all your trips he used to go on with you.
