John was always a father, grandfather and best friend to everyone. Even to me. He was a brilliant man. I was fortunate to spend a summer fishing in Canada with him and it was one of the most memorable experiences of my life. I think it was for him also but he would never say that. I will miss you dearly. Rest In Peace.
