John "Jack" Conley's Obituary
John "Jack" Conley, age 89, of Pittsburgh, passed away on July 12, 2026.
John was raised in the Southside neighborhood of Pittsburgh. He spent most of his younger years hanging out with his buddies, causing trouble! He had a successful career as an electronics technician. When he was on vacation he loved to travel, either with the family or having new adventures on his own. As he got older he settled down, content to have an old-fashioned cocktail and listen to old time radio.
For John, his family was at the center of his life. From his dedication to taking care of his parents to being present in the lives of his sister and her children, he showed great care for those around him. He enjoyed watching his great-nephew play hockey and having a good chat with his niece and nephews.
He was also a great friend. He looked forward to the first Tuesday of the month when he would go to breakfast with his workmates at Dick's Diner. These meetups will not be the same without him, and he will be greatly missed.
John is survived by his sister Joan Uhrinak; nephew, Mark Uhrinak; niece, Susan Uhrinak; great-nephew, James (Mikayla) Uhrinak; and great-great niece, Mia Grace Uhrinak.
He is preceded in death by his parents Daniel and Anna Conley.
Family and friends are welcome for visitation on Friday, July 17, 2026 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Rd, Pittsburgh PA, 15236. A Blessing Service will follow at 2:00 pm in the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be handled by Jefferson Memorial Park.
