John M. Burgess' Obituary
John M. Burgess, 67, of Jefferson Hills, passed away surrounded by his loving family on July 17, 2018. John is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Sue (Sandmeyer) Burgess; son, Rob (Erica) Burgess; daughter, Beth (Jason) Robosky; grandchildren, Ava, Graham, Tate, and Callan Burgess & Rachel and Ben Robosky. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Godfrey and Sue Jane Burgess. John was a member and served as a deacon at Pleasant Hills Community Presbyterian Church. He had a 45 year career in banking, sales and computers at various companies, including: Unisys, Sharp, and Fiserv. He is also a veteran of the Navy Reserves. One of his greatest joys in life was spending time with his grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, July 20, 2018, 11:30 am, at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, 15236 in the Funeral Home Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
