Jack Ashworth's Obituary
John A. (Jack) Ashworth, of Whitehall, age 85, died on Friday, December 20th.
Jack was the loving husband for 35 years to "His Bride", Jacquie. He is survived by his wife, three daughters, Laura (Jerry) Bianco, Tracy (Kevin) Sullivan, Leslie (Randy) Rusch, and stepson, Rick (Amy) Baloh.
His pride and joy were his grandchildren, Anthony (Katie) Daniel (Brianne) Zack (Sarah) Miranda (Marc) and Anna. He was thrilled at being the great grandfather to Memphis, Braxton and Cora. Jack is survived by sister, Carol, niece Melanie (John) and their daughter, Molly.
He was preceded in death by son, John, former wife, Connie, and his parents, Irene and Jack.
He lived life to the fullest. He never met a sport he didn't love. He excelled in swimming, motocross, ice skating (he even skated with the Ice Capades!), skiing all over the world, and trap shooting. He was recently inducted into the South Hills High School Sports Hall of Fame for his swim team accomplishments.
Jack was a successful business owner as a graphic arts broker for many years. In his retirement' he discovered his love for all good wines, and became a wine master.
Visitation will be held at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236, on Friday, December 27, 2024, from 1:00 -5:00 PM with a blessing service on Saturday, December 28, 2024, in the chapel, at 11:00 AM.
