JoAnne Randolph's Obituary
JoAnne Randolph of Clairton, Pennsylvania, loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Thursday, December 31, 2020, at age 82. She was born on August 6, 1938, to John and Margaret Brenner.
JoAnne was married to James “Skip” Randolph for 51 years. They had four children and six grandchildren, and together as a family enjoyed many years at their summer home at the Yough Lake. JoAnne was passionate about travel and intrigued by the beauty and splendor of America’s most beloved cities. She enjoyed playing cards, Scrabble, and going to the movies. She was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Wilson and Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Pleasant Hills. JoAnne volunteered at the Clairton Food Bank for many years and was committed to supporting organizations for America’s Veterans.
Grandchildren were a blessing to JoAnne. Her greatest joy was spending time with them and supporting all their endeavors. She enjoyed attending dance recitals, school programs, and sporting events. She treasured celebrating birthdays and holidays and passing on family traditions.
JoAnne was preceded in death by her devoted husband, parents, and sister, Dorothy Brenner. She is survived by her loving children, Cheryl Bittner, James “Skip” (Kim) Randolph Jr., Amy (Jeff) Clark, and Susan Randolph; beloved grandchildren, Skylar (Zack) Beisler, Makaylie, and Trent Randolph, JoAnna, Lauren, and Jenna Clark; dedicated brother, Tom (Michelle) Brenner; along with nieces and nephews.
Following a private burial at Jefferson Memorial Cemetery, a memorial service will be held at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 10, 2021. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of JoAnne may do so to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 400 Old Clairton Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236.
