Jennifer (Pellegrini) Hedayat
I remember when Uncle Jonny and Aunt JoAnne came out to visit for their 25th wedding anniversary. Mom (Eileen) and I drove to Las Vegas to meet them. It was my first time in Vegas, and I can't imagine a better person with whom to share that experience. JoAnne was in awe of everything we saw, and oh, how we laughed. We went to mass at the Catholic Church there, and behind the altar, instead of a traditional cross, was this HUGE mural of Jesus soaring up to heaven like he was a kite. Mom, JoAnne, and I were so fixated on that mural (and making each other laugh) that we missed the whole service. Then we drove them back to California and had such a good time. And all the visits as young kids to Pittsburgh, though they feel like a lifetime ago, I will always remember Aunt JoAnne and her fun, genuinely sweet personality. Rest In Peace, sweet Auntie. Love, Jenny xoxo
