Joanne M. Keck's Obituary
Joanne Mary Keck, age 86, formerly of Bethel Park, entered into eternal rest, finally joining her husband of 62 years.
She was born June 24, 1936 in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of Louis and Hilda Poeppelman.
Joanne is survived by her children, Mark (Susan) Keck, Michelle (David) Francesconi, Joseph Keck, Kathleen Hickey and Kerri (Chris) Dzinglski; nine grandchildren, Nicholas (Rebecca) Villa, Betsy Keck, Jaclyn (Joshua) Fellows, Samantha Keck (Jonathan Wauford), Lauryn Dzinglski, Kayla and Logan Hickey, Sarah and Avery Dzinglski; eight great-grandchildren; siblings, William Poeppelman and Rita Vonderheide; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. Keck who passed in 2019; sisters, Kathleen Arndts, Jeanette Morrissey; and brother, Rev. Paul Poeppelman and her parents.
Joanne, who was a devout Catholic, was a fun-loving and generous woman. She loved playing cards especially bridge, going to the Meadows, painting, jewelry making, and cheering for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Joanne will be missed by anyone who knew her.
Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. on Tuesday, August 30th at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road Pittsburgh, PA 15236.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 A.M. Wednesday, August 31st at Resurrection Parish, St. John Capistran Church worship site.
