Joan C. Wincko's Obituary
Age 72 of Bethel Park passed away peacefully on February 21, 2017 with her family by her side. Beloved wife of Kenneth A. Wincko; Loving mother of Lisa (Mark) Carper, Ken (Amy) Wincko, Laurie (Tom) Mathie, and Jeff (Leticia) Wincko; Grandmother of Matthew Carper, Kaitlin Wincko, Evelyn Mathie, Cameron Wincko, Kelsey Wincko, Alaina Wincko, and Corinne Wincko; Sister of Nancy (Roger) Sullivan, Cynthia Sanders, Debbie (Bob) Staniech, and Bill (Debbie) Sakowic. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Bertha Sakowic. Joan attended Divine Redeemer Academy and the University of Pittsburgh. In her working career she served as a executive secretary at Western Penn National Bank, as a Multi-Million-Dollar Producer for Howard Hanna Real Estate Company, and held various positions in retail and mortgage and loan servicing. Joan was always willing to devote her time volunteering for her children's activities. First and foremost, Joan will be remembered for her fierce devotion to her family and kindness to everyone. Visitation for Joan will be held on Friday from 2-4 PM & 6-8 PM at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Pleasant Hills. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday at 10 AM at St. Valentines Church, Bethel Park. Entombment at Jefferson Memorial Park.
