Joan M. Timko's Obituary
Joan M. Timko, age 68, of Pittsburgh, passed away from a sudden heart attack and went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 14, 2021.
Joanie is survived by her beloved daughter, Rebecca (the late Travis C.) Hall of Pleasant Hills, PA; brother, Daniel (Lor) Magurshak of Frederick, MD; sister, Karen (Michael) Magurshak Joyce of Mt. Lebanon, PA; sister-in-law, Rita Moore of Pittsburgh, PA; furry friends, Chloe and Ben; as well as many nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 39 years, Dennis Timko; her niece, Gwendolyn Magurshak; her nephew, Keith Moore; parents, George and Katherine Magurshak.
Joanie recently retired from a long career at Kurt J. Lesker Company. She was faithful member of Walnut Grove Assembly of God, where she was involved in many activities and outreaches. Joanie's concern and love for others is reflected in that she is remembered as a Prayer Warrior. She loved playing Scrabble, completing puzzles, and enjoyed her home. She will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew her.
Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, services are private and have been entrusted to the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills, PA 15236. Interment will be held on Thursday, February 18, 2021.
