Joan C. Lopez's Obituary
Joan Lopez, 88, of Pittsburgh, PA. passed away surrounded by her loving family on December 29, 2024. Born August 4, 1936 to parents Joseph and Antoinette Savage.
Joan is survived by her children Renee (Jim) Shrewsbury, Leonard (Denise) Lopez, Carolyn (Ken) Rost, Rick (Denise) Lopez, Shari (Brian) Cahill; 11 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters Elizabeth Higgins and Lois Poploski; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by loving husband Joseph Lopez, and her parents Joseph and Antoinette Savage; and siblings Leonard Savage, Diana (Madison) Savage.
Joan was a very upbeat and funny woman. She was always joking around and making others laugh. She loved her snacks and her favorite, Kahlua and cream. Above all, Joan was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother who loved her family immensely. She will be greatly missed by all those who had a chance to know her.
All Services are private and will be handled by Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home.
